Murder at the Museum

April 3, 4, 5 • 6:30-9:30pm • Allegany Museum-3 Pershing St.

The Allegany Museum and Embassy Theatre are teaming up for their 2nd Annual Murder at the Museum event, a thrilling and fun-filled evening of mystery, music, and nostalgia. This year's show takes place April 3, 4, and 5 at 6:00 and transports attendees back to the 1950s with the original production Rock and Roll to Murder, written and directed by Tom Valentine.

As the Allegany Museum Ballroom is transformed into a high school dance scene, Rock and Roll to Murder will take guests on a nostalgic journey to Hicksville High, where Peggy Sue and her friends are gearing up to rock around the clock. As Buddy Holly plays, audiences will meet colorful characters, including Greg the Greaser and Dimwit Donnie, two teenage misfits. Their girlfriends, Frenchy and Mary Lou add to the poodle skirt charm, while dear old mom complicates things further. Drinks will be available at a cash bar, and light refreshments will be set at each table. Attendees will be invited to guess the murderer by ballot at the ends of the performance.

Prizes for the winners include a Whiskey Rebellion tickets or a Triple Play theatrical event pass from the Embassy Theatre.

Tickets are $40 per person and are available through the Facebook pages of both the Allegany Museum and Embassy Theatre. Tickets are available here.
